So what was in the Box!

I posted about this  box I made last week but couldn't show you the contents as I had sent it off without taking any photos. Silly me!!

I have received photos from Sam so can now reveal what I crafted to go into the the box.
Actually it is a bit like the chicken and the egg (which came first) as I made the flowers and then needed a container to send them in!!!

Nestling in the plate are  Roses (various), Carnations,  Chrysanthemums, Cornflowers, Anemones, Pansies and just because there was room in the top of the box for one more
a Poinsettia.

I have used various flower dies in different combinations to achieve the flower shapes I wanted.  Distress inks and chalks to colour the Roses Also used up loads of cardstock snippets and  hopefully they all  look real enough to pass muster.

Top of the class Mrs A - or should that be top of the tree house?! What a wonderful bouquet - and I know how Sam will have loved this, my box of roses is still here and I dip into them regularly - sometimes I just peek at them :)

Sorry I'm late commenting - I was too busy ordering sticky tape after the shortage I wrote about yesterday :)) Bad girl that I am!!

I can personally vouch for the wonderful flowers! They are gorgeous and I shall be VERY choosy about what projects I use them on, or I may just keep them in the box for a sunshine moment whenever I want to look in. Anne made me cry when I opened the whiskas box to find the chicken box, let alone inside the chicken box.
Thanks so much once again.

re the flowers yes the Golden Penda are related to bottlebrush..

..and no fragrance as most natives dont have them the pollen is enough to attract the bees masses of it... dont last long like most bottlebrush plants.

These are stunning, you have given them such dimension and depth of color. Wow! Thank-you so much for stopping by my blog and your kind words. Look forward to having you join us at Crafting With Dragonflies for our challenges. And as far as the dandelion battle, last summer I cheated terribly and mowed them frequently ;o)

These are just brilliant, so very creative and such a great use of scraps. You must have loads of flower dies to make all these beauties, Jx
