It feels like January should have come and gone by now but it still has ten days to go and the weather is set to get very cold here.
Anyway it is time for the girls once more in the Christmas Card Club to show our latest makes. Sylvie set the challenge theme of Cute. Now everyone has their own definition of cute so hope that this card that I made and sent to the recipient last year but not posted on my blog will pass muster as my arm is not really improving much and am trying not to craft for long periods at the moment.
My lovely blogging friend has a bit of a thing for Owls (pretty much like I do for Butterflies) so it was a bit of a no brainer to make this card for her.
Stamp is by The House of Zandra and called 'Barny'. The stamps are no longer in production so I'm glad that I purchased the few that I do have. (I think that you can get some of the range in CD format though). I have coloured with my promarkers/Graph'it pens/gold gel pen/pearescent chalks and then die cut out using my Crafts-Too Square dies scalloped edge Ref PCD77. Sentiment from my stash. The papers were all leftover snippets that went well with the image after I had coloured it in.
Entering into the following challenges:
Sweet Stampin # Bright & cheerful.
Crafting with Friends #78 anything goes.
Colour Crazy Challenge #53 Anything goes.
The Holly & The Ivy #43 Anything goes.
Sweet Stampin Christmas #Anything goes.
Merry Little Christmas #6 An ything goes.
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas# Anything goes optional add a sentiment.
That is certainly a cute owl - love it. Hope your arm improves quickly.

Super cute card Valery - my mum told me the brand of the stamp she used - it was something like butterfly kisses - they are sold by hobbyart. Hope that helps! Hugs rachel x
ReplyDeleteIt's such a cute owl card and perfect for Christmas! Sorry, I did not know you were having issues with your arm, but I hope it's better soon!
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame the stamp is no longer available, because it is so cute - and versatile! I especially like how the feathers have been made to look like one of those winter time "ugly sweater" themes, ValeryAnne. WONDERFUL CARD! So glad you uploaded your project to Christmas at the Sweet Stampin’ Challenge so I could come visit. Your artwork is a delight! Hope to see more of your pretty submissions in the future. Please check back to see if you are a selected DT favorite!
