Just one more week left of the Celebration Butterfly challenge so here are two more cards for your inspiration.
1st card. Uses Hexagons/Harvest Gold/ Hearts + Butterflies.
The hexagon stencil is by Memory Box called Honeycomb style no 88521 which I placed over the white card base and held in place whilst colouring with a graph'it pen through the stencil. The butterflies were on my desk from a previous card and hadn't used. They have small pearl hearts attached so were perfect to use for this card. The sentiment was a peel off from my stash.
I used white card stock for The hexagons which are an SU embossing folder called Honeycomb. I trimmed down to size and adhered to the white card base. I ran a second piece of card through the EF and cut the individual hexagons needed for the sentiment which I coloured with a graph'it pen. Letters are clear stamps from Clarity's letter pack set and the No 4 from a Clear Stamp Alpha SML but the package does not say the makers name. The butterfly is a stamp by Marianne design Clear stamps set CS0927 and coloured with my graph'it pens.
Hi Mrs A your cards are stunning they are just gorgeous. The comment thing started on 25th May we are all having the same problem and not getting notifications. Take care. Hugs Jackie
ReplyDeleteHello Valery!
ReplyDeleteThe cards are gorgeous! I tell you that I like the butterflies!
I also do not receive a email notification, but I love that! By the new law or privacy ....
Enjoy your day!
Hugs!
I'm afraid it's happening to everybody - I think Blogger has messed something up when they were implementing their GDPR stuff. There is a work-round, somebody posted it as a comment on Darnell's blog - if, immediately after publishing a post, you make a comment on it your self and tick "notify me of follow up comments" than you should get emails about them, but this only really works if you are the only person on the blog editing team. If there are several (a DT blog, for instance) every member of the team would need to do it on every post - and they STILL wouldn't get notification of new posts!
ReplyDeleteAnyway. moving on to your card it is gorgeous and the golden honeycomb makes me think of bees, my current favourite crafting theme.
Both cards are beautiful!

Two beautiful cards Valery Anne, I love the way the colour pops on the hot pink one.
ReplyDeleteSue xx
Two lovely cards, like the background on the first one and love the bright pink and the super multi coloured butterfly on the second card.
ReplyDeleteYep, it is happening to me too and it is a world-wide thing, went on the blogger help page last Sunday and a huge amount of bloggers are complaining, no word from blogger at all about it.
For my RD post I did what Jane has said, as I saw the post by Darnel on the blogger help page, it did work and I am now getting comments through for that post. Today I will be doing another post and will use the same method but I don't think it will work on scheduled posts until you have gone in and made a comment,
which is not good as we have to schedule our Allsorts card for 8a.m. Saturday mornings and I don't get up till 9 so some of the early birds that leave a comment will not get through to me. So annoying.
Have a nice day.

Two more super cards for inspiration. The email notification issue is all to do with the new Data Protection Legislation and Darnell put a solution in a recent post

Hope this helps
Just posting here to get my email notifications as in above comments.
ReplyDeleteTwo different card for your usual style, but both very striking and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI quote other ladies here: after the changes on blogger for the new European laws, you have to follow any your own new post, if you want see the new comments arriving in your mailbox. For following your new posts you have to leave a comment to your own post and check the square before publishing with the orange button. See on Darnell's blog, I know that my english is bad... :)
2 beautiful cards,Valery, especially the second one with the colourful butterfly.Since 25 may you don't receive emails anymore. This is worldwide. This has to do with the new privacy law.
ReplyDeleteIt's called General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Gr,Sylvia
I haven't done a post for a couple of weeks but suspect it's to do with the new rules as others have said - why it has to affect our little craft blogs is beyond me though.
ReplyDeleteLovely take on the theme - I love hexagons and these are two fabulous cards
