Lets Party.

It's time for the first Rudolph challenge of 2018. This is a card I made last year but didn't get round to showing due to having the wretched flu for all of December so is not in my current total for this Yr.
Image is a digi by Bugaboo  called.' Christmas  Ornament Gal.'

I must have taken at least 30 photos of this card around the house in different lighting and times of day but this is the best I can get. I have coloured in using my promarkers and then edged with a gold gel pen. Lots of red stickles glue applied too that is not showing up. Backed onto a strip of hessian and then tartan check design paper onto red cardstock and lastly green cardstock. The sentiment is by
Ultimate Crafts called ' Merry Christmas Swirls' and I have come to the conclusion that the Merry is not showing up due to having the tartan paper behind it. IRL it is not a problem.
Here is another shot that is not showing up all the bling.
Entering into the following challenges:
Crafty Card Makers #203 Blings the thing.
Scraps of Life by Scrappy Mo #1 Rudolph day.
A Snowflakes Promise #47 Anything goes.
The Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge #22 Anything goes.
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge #369 Anything goes + use a sentiment.
Passion For Promarkers #428 Lots of layers.
Tuesday Throwdown #376 Anything goes.
Watercooler Wednesday Challenge #154 All About Christmas.

  28. Hi Valery Anne, what a great card! I know what you mean about photographing something with gold embossing. Such a pain but in real life it looks so fantastic, doesn't it? Love that image! How fun that she is virtually wearing a wrapped gift while holding that enormous ornament. Beautiful colouring and shading. Great use of papers for your background, too. And that oversized, bold sentiment...genius! Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

  31. Sometimes you get a card like that when the photo just won't do it justice. I love that image and the layout you did with it.

  32. Love these funky images - they make me smile! The gold outline around this big green bow sparkles and of course the tartan background-perfect. I loved the touch of texture with the burlap tucked behind. Of course the sentiment is a lovely flourish, pretty card. Glad you finally got well enough to post it! Hope ya'll stay healthy for a while. That stuff is really going around everywhere. TFS & Hugs

  33. You have my sympathy Valery. I seem to spend my life photographing my cards/creations and never seem to get it just right!!!

Love Stella, she is so sassy. Did you go round the whole image with a gel pen!!! Wow, that must have taken some time, but the effect is fabulous. Love the tartan background and touch of hessian.

BTW I am also in Hampshire.

Thank you for sharing in my 'bling' challenge.
