Mistleto and Wine

Time again for the girls in the Christmas Card Club to show our next makes. The Theme was chosen by Rita who asked for Mistletoe and wine. Well I knew I didn't have any suitable used christmas card fronts in my stash  so a bit of head scratching went on until eventually I hatched a plan.

I found this digi by Justinklined  that I had purchased and never used in my digi downloads so that was the mistletoe element sorted. Then I remembered I had this stamp by Clear Impressions which had been free in a Creative Stamping magazine.  The sentiment is a Penny Black from their Wonder Collection.

Here is the finished card.

I used my promarkers to colour the mistletoe and the bottle of wine stamp.  The stitched frames are from my my most used Crafts-Too die set. Green and wine coloured cardstock along with white card to make the base card from my stash.
Thankyou Rita for making me really think outside of the box on this one. Hope you like.

  1. Covered the theme beautifully - amazing what a trawl through digital and actual 'stuff' can come up with although it does take a bit of time. Worth it though.

  5. A beautiful card and perfect for our theme this time which I think has made a few people scratch their heads, including me :) I'm running a bit late after having a holiday and a blog break getting back into routine is proving difficult but I hope to have my card up in a day or two.

  7. Wow, you sure pulled together the necessary images to make this great card. I love the wine and grapes with the mistletoe. The colors are just right to showcase this card. I hope they get the IT problems worked out. That does cause so much disruption. We seem to be helpless without our computers.
