Christmas Layers

Time once more for the girls in the Christmas Card Club
to show our makes. The theme this time is
'Use Lots of Layers  'and was set by Maureen.

Those Monkeys are still creating havoc so
my cards have had to be very quick this time.

A quick delve into my used christmas card box
and I came up with this CAS card front. It did have a
a holly die cut adhered to it though so that was one layer sorted!

I used  a red card base and used further red and dark green
cardstock to layer up.
Card front was trimmed down to fit  and adhered on top
making it 5 layers in all.
How many layers is lots? Lol.

Then I turned to my Christmas stash of
dies, digi's ,stamps, stickers, papers and embossing folders
to see what I could use .
I came across this pre coloured digi  called
Starlight Starbright by Sassy Cheryl from
Paper Creator. His snazzy scarf caught my eye
and I sorted some tartan papers to go with it
They are all freebies from Making Cards.
Nov and Dec Christmas editions 2015

Used a green base card this time and layered up the tartan
papers using a darker green card stock.
6 layers including the image !
Silver sticker sentiment from my stash.

  5. Hi Mrs A,
what gorgeous cards, and such a very lot of lovely layering too.
My fave is that super snowman as I do love a snowman on a card.
    Great colours used also.
I just wonder what Norm and Sammy was up to while you were creating these.
I bet it was something like while the cats away the mice play or should I say chimps. LOL.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
