The new theme this fortnight
for my Butterfly Challenge
which you can find here
is to
Paper Piece your butterfly/s.
These are my inspirations for you.
Remember those pesky little snippets
I had left over a few weeks back?
Well this is what I did with them.
I will not be beat!
I used strips of ds tape onto a piece of card
and stuck the shapes down in a sort of half
Hexagon pattern until I had used them all up.
This is what I made with the result.
I just had enough room to die cut
3 Butterfly shapes using
Clearly Besotted
Butterfly Wishes die collection.
As they are quite bright I used black card
to show them off which in turn made me think
Oriental (as one does)!
so I cut some orange strips to make a frame around the edge.
A simple peel off by Anita's
completed the card.

Pixie's Crafty Workshop151 Use your snippets.
On my second card
I have used a Penny Black creative die
Called Delicate Wings
To cut an aperture from a square of white card.
I then turned this over and adhered strips
of leftover design paper snippets in stripes
to fill the open hole up .
Turned back over and matted to a sheet
of plain pink card stock
which I then attached to a card blank.
Another Anita's peel off
And the card was done.
Hope you will have time to go and play.
