Netting

The latest letter over at the Craft Barn for their Alpha challenge is N and I have chosen to use the word Netting to illustrate.
The background has been given  a wash of diluted tester pot paint " dusted Fondant". I have stamped the page using a stamp by Visible Image "Ripped Fishnet". I have used this stamp a couple of times now and love it. There are so many uses that it can be put to.
The plastic netting overlay is from a net bag used on bottles of booze. (Kindly donated by The Doc after consumption of course!. The letter N is from a Free Calligraphy site and can  be found here.

Entering into the following challenge:
The Craft Barn Alpha Challenge: Use the letter N.

The 'Net'  is closing in now as there are just 4 letters left to choose. I,Q,S & X.
I wonder which one it will be next!!

  1. That Ripped Fishnet is a marvellous stamp....love it....today I had a workshop with mixed media...one of the ladies had some tiny dies of cats, so I immediately had to think of you....you should love them I think!
    Have a great weekend!

  10. Well done, Mrs. A! Very, very tactile and wonderful! I've just come from a visit with Miss Di and read about your antics! You two make everyone wish they knew you!! Hugs, Darnell

  11. I see, I see - brilliant! So glad I ordered that fishnet stamp with you on Sunday - it looks a bit like me after a night out, dancing round our handbags with you really! Girlies do that and then run home to their chaps and act sensible of course.

Snigger, I see Darnell has finally cottoned onto you :) You do realise we now need to devise a special 'song and dance routine' for folk we might meet from Blogland? I can be the little plump one and you can do the tall and elegant bit! Top hat and tails anyone?

Right now am crawling round like the Hunchback of Notre Dame though, sigh, off to bed just to lie flat and it's only 7:30 pm :( Gawd, them coach seats were not at all comfy were they? :( Me taking a cushion to Bath!!

    Hugs, Di xx

  13. This net stamp is fabulous! Too bad I have already blown this months scrappy budget on other treasures...but this one might just go on my Xmas stocking stuffer list!

I make a lot of fishing, boating, mermaid cards and netting is crucial.
Your N page is fabulous...and so nice that the Doc was thinking of you and helping out with emptying the bottle!!!

  14. This is a great page and an inspired idea to illustrate the letter N. I have recently bought some stamps with a seaside theme and this stamp would go beautifully, and thank you for your lovely comments.
