Pink Flamingo.

This is my first foray into quilling and I am totally hooked or should I say quilled!!
Thought I would start with something simple and then decided to add a fluffy cloud. I made this card  for a swap which went to Australia so have had to wait to show  until I knew that it had been received. The swap was to make a card and add something with wings.

Shaped card blank with matching Xcut nestie  turned on its  end.
Background  coloured with pastel pearlescent chalks.
Quilled strips and googly eye.
Britannia word dies.

Close up of Flamingo.

  3. Valery, you are channeling me in So. Fla. (Land of the pink flamingos!). This is so cute. Great job on your foray into quilling. I've got some supplies, but never tried anything 'for real' as yet. Your pink bird is delightful and I loved the background for him. Looks like what I'm seeing all around the area where we're visiting! TFS & thanks for the joy fold link too - appreciate it. Hugs
