Remember as with Royal Doulton, Delft,Wedgewood,Denby and Bone China unless the piece is showing the authentic mark of the manufacturer it could be a fake!!!
Hiya Mrs. A. first thank you so much for your lovely comment on my blog I really appreciate it a lot. And yes could be fake LOL...I love it too....HUgs Terry xxx
Poor Mrs A. Now keep away from those nasty beasties so no more insect bites.. tell monkey to do his patrols more assiduously please..Sidekick could get off his butt and help too! thanks for popping over and saying hi.. would have missed you... my family from Manchester (and my monkey's mum and dad) are here in Oz till early May so nice.. Shaz in oz.x
Really, really beautiful! Reminds me I need to decide to go on an art coures to make something similar, but not quite papier mache. The course is in May and I might go. What you have made here is clever; you have inspired me! Might book a place! Thank you ! Sue xx
Yes those sifters are to die for! The price is likely to cause death by shock too! My best friend deals in Art Deco and I don't think we have much Clarice Cliff stock left in the UK as she sells most of hers to the States and Australia. I think I see a gap in the market Mrs A...........!
Thankyou for spending a few moments here today. I'd love to hear from you. If you leave a comment you do so in the knowledge that both your name and blog link will be visible to all who visit this blog. In doing so you have published your own personal details.
Ha Ha I love it.
ReplyDeleteDid I see it on the Antiques Roadshow last week?

Honestly I don't know which pleases me more: Your beautiful tea set or that wonderful maker's mark!
ReplyDeleteHow clever to make the mark of the manufacturer to avoid it being a "fake" - girl, you really are the genuine article - love it!! ;-)
