Bronze and Steel

Bronze and Steel are the themes for the Anniversary cards that I made for our Daughter  and Son.

Daughters card is for 19yrs and that is represented by Bronze so I have used bronze card stock and teamed it with yellow her favourite colour.

Card shape is called an Accordion Fan Fold which I found on You Tube  following  Sam Calcott's Tutorial. I used a Couture Creations embossing folder called 'Chain Link' on the Bronze cardstock as I thought it rather enhanced the  Art Deco look. Numeric numbers are by Julie Hickey  which I die cut in yellow and bronze and then off set for the shadow effect.  Sentiment is a Woodware stamp. I used yellow card stock for the base shape. The circle is also a Woodware die.

Creative Fingers #253 Anything goes.

We Love 2 Create #4 Anything goes mixed media.

Son's card is for 11 yrs and that is represented by Steel so I have used Metalic card stock and teamed it with purple my Daughter in law's favourite colour.
I have used the same embossing folder, die cuts and sentiment to make the card.

  14. WOW! This card is incredible and goes quite a bit beyond the "fun fold" meter! I am so intimidated by triangles so I will have to think a bit about doing this one. But I sure love everything about yours! Thank you for playing with Creative Creases Challenge. I hope you can join us again soon.
