It's time for the girls in the Christmas Card Club to show our first makes of the New Year. Kate has chosen Black and Gold as our theme. Way out of my comfort zone. My fingers are playing up so I have kept my card very simple and used one of Fluff's stamps from her FaDoodle range of stamps called Holly.
(Her latest one is also out now 'Snow Peeps' , already available at Whimsy Stamps and here in the Uk very shortly from Dies To Die For.)
I have made a slim line card measuring 8.25" x 3.75" from black card and used a Die Cut Frame by Marianne Design CR1569 which I have backed onto gold cardstock before adhering to the cardbase. the holly and sentiments have been embossed using Wow gold embossing powder.
Amendment
I posted the card above at 9am but it was so out of my comfort zone that I couldn't leave it as was so here is the 4pm version. I simply added red and green glitter stickles to colour in the holly and leaves also a bit of shinny bling.I am now back in my Happy Zone !!
Rabbit Update
He is coming along. I am up to step ten now. He is looking more like a mummy from a tomb in Egypt at the minute though!!
He can sit up unaided on his back legs. 👌 Next step is to feed him up with lots of carrots!!
Stay safe and well.
