Deer Herd.

I missed the last show and tell for the Christmas Card Club that I am in but  have managed to make one card for this week. I didn't use the set theme and went with the fall back of anything goes. I have been watching quite a lot of old 'Clarity' You Tube videos  and as I have quite a few of their masks decided to make a little scene up using some of them. I vagally followed  where Barbara led  and this is the result.

I used s Moon mask, Pine forest mask and deer from the Riverside extras masks and various coloured ink pads. This card is for a friend who for the entire time we worked together only ever wore the colour black. Even when we meet up for a coffee  she  insists that it is the only colour that suits her so this card will make her smile as I am still trying to instill a bit of colour into her life.

Well that was the week that was.  I had my booster jab which ended up being the Pfizer vaccine (even though I had been told not to have it the first time round due to all  the allergies I have) and really thought by the end of day one that I had gotten away with just feeling very cold and tired. It hit me day 2 and 3  with a wallop and I spent my time huddled under blankets on the settee. Still if that is a taster of what the full blown virus feels like if you catch it then I'm for the vaccine each and every time!!

Stay safe and well
Hugs

  3. Great card ValeryAnne. Like you I had Astra Zeneca for my first two jabs and Pfizer for my booster. I had no problems at all with the first two but I knew I had had the booster. Fortunately it didn't last long. Hope you are okay now. Christine xx

  5. A lovely colourful scene but I imagine your friend will be pleased to see the deer are wearing black!! Sorry to hear you had a bad time with the booster jab - as far as I know everyone had the Pfizer one regardless of what they had first time around - I know they did around these parts anyway. Take care.

  8. Great scene and I love that sky!
Too bad that you have such a strong reaction to the vaccine, but as you say, this is better than having the full blown virus.
    Hope you're feeling better now.
I think I will get the booster next month.

  16. A lovely card Mrs A. Pleased you didn’t have too bad a reaction to your jab. I think both Roy and I have been very lucky as the only side effects we had to all three jabs was a slightly tender arm.

  17. Poor you Mrs A!! I was lucky and had the same as I had for the first 2 jabs. We had no reaction other than a sore spot on our arms.
Love the scene you have created and the design is lovely.

  20. Hello, Mrs. A! I love, love, love your peaceful scene card! The background looks amazing and I love those deer! Gorgeous card! So sorry you got the booster jab and had another bad reaction. Sounds miserable! I hope you are much better!

I'm also sorry that I haven't been playing in your butterfly challenges lately as I only recently came back to my blog and I'm in full Christmas cardmaking mode. I'm feeling guilty for neglecting my butterflies again! Maybe I will head over and take a look to see what's going on with the butterflies!
