Anniversaries

Both our Daughter and Son have their Wedding Anniversaries within days of each other though several years apart and these are the cards that I made this year.

This was the card for Fluff and Son-in-law. I loved making the Lantern card for the Butterfly Challenge (and that card went to my Daughter-in-law for her Birthday) so I made another one and incorporated a hanging element into it. The design paper (from The Works) I used had plain white flowers on it  but I wanted them to be yellow so I coloured each one with a marker pen and then edged with a silver gel pen.I must remind myself that patience is a virtue and  also cannot be rushed as the colouring took 2 days.

The hanging element dangling inside is an Xcut oval die cut twice, glued together with the thread trapped inside  and the image stamped on either side. The stamp is a really old one by Alysinkyfingers and circa 2014. This is the last date I can see her blog being active.
I decorated the sides with sentiments and embellishments in silver stickers from  my stash.

As I had only just sent the other  Lantern card to my Daughter in law (for her Birthday) I decided to make a Triptych Card as their Wedding Anniversary card.
This is the front panel. I have used design papers from A  Hunkydory Little Book of Flowers. Die cut using 2 different sizes of an Xcut die. 'Rectangle Parenthesis'.

Showing next centre panel. The sentiments and silver numbering were from my stash.
Showing all three panels which were all seperate pieces of card stock cut to same size and adhered together using three tabs each. I neatened the back of each panel using a smaller insert of green  paper and the middle one had a white die cut panel for  writing on.
I used yellow and purple for the cards as they are my Daugther and Daughter in laws favourite colours.

Hugs
and stay safe.
