Golly, Another 2 weeks gone in a puff of smoke and what changeable weather we have been experiencing.
It is time again for the girls in the Christmas Card club to show our next makes. Margaret has chosen the theme of Little Robing Red Breast. I have 3 new stamps to christen that I purchased back in Feb of 2020 and not used yet.
I fancied doing a spot of water colouring and so the first three have been painted using distress inks smooshed out onto a sheet of acetate and a brush dipped into water to dilute.
Card 1.
This is a Creative Expressions stamp called 'Natalie's Christmas Robin'.
Sentiment is by Dovecrafts and the little nail heads are tiny silver stickers. Once painted I die cut using Crafts -Too Square dies Scalloped edge which I raised up from the main card base using strips of snippets card glued together to give the height.
Card 2.
This is a stamp by Hobby Art Ltd called 'Winter Robin'.
I used water colour card and stamped using my Wow embossing pad and silver embossing powder. Once painted die cut out using Spellbinders A2 Floral ribbon threader. The sentiment is by Studio Light from their Winter Memories stamp set. I used another of the silver sticker nail heads for the centre of the snowflake. Strip of silver glitter card was on my desk so waste not want not.
Card 3.
This is another stamp by Hobby Art Ltd called ' Robin on Wellies'.
I used water colour card and stamped using my Wow embossing pad and silver embossing powder.
Once painted and dry I die cut using Spellbinders Labels Twenty - Eight . The sentiment this time is by Woodware from their Modern Seasonal set. Raised up again using card strips glued together and the nail head silver stickers for accent.
Card 4.
I had this out on my desk from a previous project not used and as it also had robins on it decided to colour using my Promarker pens and a silver gel pen. It is a digi stamp by Delicious Doodles called 'Jolly Holly Post Box '. Die cut using Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles. Sentiment by Studio Light.
I did have all these finished last night but too late to take any decent photos till this morning and then I got side tracked yet again as one does so apologies Margaret for being late.
HUGS
Stay safe and well.

ReplyDeleteThey are all incredibly beautiful, I am in love ...
Every year since my husband's mother passed away, we have a robin in the garden every year and we think about her ... funny is that when I come out she grumbles very much and leaves quickly and when my husband comes out she remains silent sit hihi.
I had a really good relationship with her.
Thank you for the beautiful cards and lots of love, Wilma xx
I like the various robin images you have chosen to work with x
