Mint Butterflies.

We are now into week 3 of the Butterfly challenge with 2 more weeks to run.

#129 Spin The Butterfly Wheel with M for Magic Window card.

Here is my next inspiration card for you.
I have used the following from the wheel:
Magic Window/Markers Pens/Mandarin/Magnolia/Min/Butterflies.

I have made the card 5.5" sq.  Design paper is Minty Madness No5. From Funky Hand(no longer in business). The stamps used are a set by Marianne Design CS 0927 which I have coloured with my marker pens and then outlined with a silver gel pen.  The butterfly circle is a Spellbinders Decorative Elements 'Butterflies circles' die cut set.  I die cut the sentiment by Britannia Dies 3 times, twice in mint and once in mandarin cardstock then layered up with the mandarin on the bottom very slightly offset to give the shadow effect.

Here is the card just beginning to open up.
The flowers are from the same set as the butterflies. Coloured with a mandarin marker pen but because I was colouring on top of  green cardstock they look a dark red.
The magic begins as the card opens further to show the magic shutter and the picture below shows the card fully opened.
There is a tutorial over on the challenge blog under the card shapes tab at the top of the page for making a Magic Window card.
I hope you will come on over and have a play with the Butterflies.

  4. Oh that is beautiful! And I love that paper - in fact I love it so much I had to print it 40 times to make the Thank You cards for my daughter's wedding a few years ago. Exactly the same paper and colourway - I do love my Funky Hands CDS.
