Caught up at last!

Have finally caught up with  Beccy Muirs A Month of Holiday Cards Challenge. Phew! So I'm starting with todays card and working backwards with days 20,19,18.17.

Day 20 is to use the letter R.
I chose to use Red Poinsettia  and Rocker card.
Digi image is Poinsettia by Little Claires Designs. Coloured using my promarkers, gold gel pen and then given a light coating of pearlescent chalks which has given the design a lovely sheen.
 Rocker card  is my own design which has a nifty folding tag inside to hold the rocker open but closes flat for posting and it does rock. Design paper is a freebie from Making Cards magazine Nov 2016. Large circle is my Xcut Circle die, Scalloped circle is by Sizzix and the sentiment circle was punched using my 1.5 circle pinch by woodware.
Entering this card into the following challenges:
A Month of  Holiday Cards Challenge #  Day 20 Letter R.
Dream Valley #191 No squares or rectangles.
Passion for Promarkers #471 Use 3 of something (I have used promarkers,gel pen  and chalks to colour with.)
The Holly and The Ivy #41 Anything goes.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Day 19 was  to use the letter Q.
I chose to use Quilted paper  and Quote.
Looking through  my stash of freebie papers I found this super design paper which just cried out to be used for this letter. Unknown make I'm afraid but would have come from a magazine insert at some time.  The huge sentiment/quote stamp is by Docrafts.  I added the silver star sticker from my stash.
 Entering this card into the following challenges:
A Month of  Holiday Cards Challenge #  Day 19 Letter Q.
Crafty Card Makers #222 Lots of layers. (4 on this card)
Through The Craft Room Door. # Anything goes
The Creative Crafters #10 Anything goes.
Crafting With Friends #75 Anything goes.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Day 18 was  to use the letter P.
I chose to use Post Box and Plaid.
Image is another Bronson and Beaker digi from my 100 Polly Craft Bundle. Just spotted they are Posting a letter sso that is another P. Coloured using my Graph'it marker pens. Plaid paper from my freebie stash. Again unknown. The sentiment and silver snowflakes from my sticker stash.

 Entering this card into the following challenges:
A Month of  Holiday Cards Challenge #  Day 18 Letter P.
Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge # Anything goes.
613 Avenue Create #215 Anything goes + optional christmas/winter.
Scrapping 4 Fun #128 Winter.
Lil Patch of Crafty Friends #94 Anything goes.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Day 17 was  to use the letter O
I chose to use Ornament  and Ornate.
 The  ornament  image is by Digi Stamps 4 Joy and has been coloured in using my Nuvo Glitter Markers,a silver gel pen and silver pearlescent chalk.  Whilst the stripes of papers were still lurking out on my desk I selected 3 colours that were in the ornament colours and created another background. I was originally going to trim the purple ones straight but then had a brain wave(strike whilst the iron is hot) of using top and bottom and thus creating the ornate design . Gives the card a sort of Eastern feel especially with the non traditional christmas colours I have used.
 Entering this card into the following challenges:
A Month of  Holiday Cards Challenge #  Day 17 Letter O.
Try Stamping Or Not on Tuesday #385 Use sketch or optional twist of non traditional.
Daisy Chain Challenges #25 Christmas/winter.
Lets Craft and Create #143 Anything goes + optional sketch.
Now going to take the matchsticks out propping up my eye lids and have some  long overdue shute eye! See you bright eyed and busy tailed tomorrow.
  12. Another fabulous collection of cards Valery, you sure have been busy!
    Your poinsettia card is absolutely beautiful. What a great combination of traditional Christmas colours and patterns. The gold sentiment spot is particularly beautiful and gives your card a real elegance. Fabulous fold too.
    I love the bright colours on your quilted card, and the "stitching" around each square is awesome! Great sentiment panel, I like the addition of the tiny silver star.
    Your third card is super sweet, what a cute little bear! Love the tartan background paper, it always looks great on Christmas cards.
    It was a great idea to add the border strips with the ornament shapes Valery, it gives your card a lovely elegance. You did a wonderful job combining the colours for a lovely, calm result. Beautiful!
    Cheers,
    Beccy
