It's a New Year and a new challenge over on the Butterfly challenge.
#92 Butterflies + O is for One Layer and/or the colour Ultra Pink.
Her is my inspiration for you.
First up is a simple base folded in half and then I have used my Scor-pal to create two channels across the front of the card. I masked this section off and then used two different butterfly stamps to create a background top and bottom using a pink ink. Stamps used are Imagination Crafts (large butterfly and the small one is a Heyda peg stamp. Once completed I removed the mask and used sentiments by Imagination crafts and again stamped the larger of the butterflies.
Entering this card into the following challenges:
Penny's Paper Crafty #361 Anything goes.
Inspiration Destination #141 Anything goes.
Crafty Gals Corner #156 Anything goes.
Crafting By Designs # Anything goes.
The House That Stamps Built# 13 Things with wings.
Mix It Up #9 Anything goes with Masking.
Second card is made using pink card stock folded tent style. The stamp is a clear stamp from Kaisercraft called 'Flutter'. Sentiment by imagination crafts. I have used a fine black liner pen to doodle a pattern around the edge. Simple but effective and definitely one layer.
Hope you find the time to come and join in . The challenge runs until 16th January.
Two wonderful cards. I love the idea on the first card with the two butterfly stamps... added to my memory bank. We miss you in the swaps but totally understand your reason. Happy new year
ReplyDeleteSo lovely creations, the first one catches my eyes with the contrast of pink and white and the wonderful masking you made and the single butterflies in the middle band!. One layer cards are my biggest challenge, but you pull them off flawlessly! I love how you stamped all those fluttering butterflies and separated them with embossing on the first card, and the doodling around the edges of the 2nd looks like beautiful art!
