Peace, Love and Joy

Time once more for the girls in the Christmas Card club to show our makes. It was Christine's turn to choose the theme which is The True Meaning of Christmas. A rootle round in my used christmas card box only turned up one suitable card . I simply trimmed it down slightly and adhered to several layers of different coloured cardstock. The base is made from green cardstock. The joy sentiment comes I think from The Works and I have coated with Glossy Accents.
I only had time to make the one card today so this post is short and sweet.

Entering into the following challenges:
The Holly and The Ivy Christmas challenge #12 Anything goes.
A Snowflakes Promise #42 Anything goes.
Crafty Hazelnut's Extra # Anything goes.
Sweet Stampin Christmas # Anything goes.

  17. Pity so many people these days don't adopt the word peace, a brilliant up-cycled card and it would have been a shame not to.

  28. Lovely card, its a pity that the words often go unheeded, any time - but especially at Christmas, too much consumerism.

  31. What a lovely idea for this card. The words you chose have such treasured meaning.
A great take on the theme.
I am still not back to club.Health issues keep me away. I am posting cards I had made ahead. I do have a couple of catch up cards made for club so hope to be back in the fall. We sold the place at the lake and it closes on Sept 12. My life should get much easier then as it was a lot of fun there....but also was a lot of work!!!
