Christmas Baubles.

Time once more for the girls in the Christmas Card Club
to show our makes. The theme this time is
'Christmas Baubles 'and was set by Margaret.
A delve into my used christmas card stash
and I found this ready made bauble design.
It was only small at 2.75 x 4.00 but  I thought
it could work.
The base is a cream card blank which I have
adhered a slightly smaller sized card stock to.
It is a lovely rolled gold  shimmer with sparkle
embed into it. The sentiment is gold stickers
which I have placed around the top edge.
I got the idea for this from Di's post   where
she has used a corner stamp. Apparently
there is also a Christmas one out now
but till I can get my paws on it stickers
will have to suffice!!

Then I turned to my Christmas stash of
dies, stamps, stickers, papers and embossing folders
to see what I could use.

I'm running around like a headless chicken
at the moment as my blog has been over run by monkeys
and trying to keep up with their exploits is a full time job.
So I needed to find something quick and easy to use.
I found my hidden Art pad of LOTV  images
that I was coveting for a rainy day but decided
needs must. There were two bauble designs.

I used a green card base and adhered a slightly smaller
square of red pearlised  Glitter card to the front.
I trimmed the image down slightly and used a Fiskars
fancy border punch on the two outside corners.
I couldn't get a better picture than this but you
can just about see the silver sticker sentiment and motifs.

Iv'e used green card stock top make the base card
which is tent style with the base  concertina folded and glued
so that the card stands securely but folds flat for sending.
Used more of the red glitter card and a slightly darker green card stock
layered up . Top layer is die cut using Crafts-Too Stitch hole
rectangle die PCD98.
LOTV image has been glued behind before assembling
The corner pieces are the fallout from the fiskars punch used above.
I needed 4 so punched a further 2 from a scrap of white card.
Sentiment is silver stickers form my stash.

O'h the cheek of it. Norm has just said can I please hurry
up and get this posted as he needs to sort his photos out and
write his 5pm post up!!!

  12. Love each of these recycled cards! Inspired by your adventures in recycling, I did the same this week. However, your creativity with the products used/embellies added, always take your 'recycles' into another realm of 'prettier than it was in the beginning'. Love each of these ...well done. TFS & Hugs
