Skating By

Skating by is exactly what I am doing
as I'm running spectacularly late
for Scrappy Mo's Rudolph Challenge.
No excuse as the cards have been made
just no time to post. I need more time!!

Anyway without further ado here is
my card.
I have used this cute pre coloured image
I had in my stash.
By Sassy Cheryl from Paper Creator
called "Figure Eight Style"

Design papers are all digi papers in my stash
from various Nitwit Collections.
I love these as you can just print off as and when
required with no fear of running out!
Sentiment is a ribbon sticker.
I backed each paper onto oddments of white card
to make a frame and then just layered up until I
got the look I wanted.
I was having fun so I made another card
using teal design papers backed onto red card this time.

Must rush have a hair appointment!

  1. Hi Mrs A oh I can't pick a favourite, both red and teal are my favourite colours and both cards work equally well. The wee image is very cute too and perfect for the occasion.

    Happy crafting, hugs Erika. x

Very pretty card, Mrs. A Your digi papers look perfect on each card...and as you say, they take up no extra space to store!

  6. That's a great image and looks good with both backgrounds. Always handy to have digi papers to print off at will.

  17. This is such a cute card and skating to find more time is so appropriate. My skating would be more like "on thin ice!".

  20. You just skated in by the skin of your teeth there! I love the two colourways - they give the card a very different character. The red makes you think how warm and cosy her hat and scarf are, while the teal makes you think what a cool, frosty day it is, perfect for a spot of skating. Thanks for joining us at Rudolph Days
