More Yellow.

Thought I would share another 2 cards
as inspiration for my Butterfly Challenge

#45 Butterflies + X is for Xanthine.

(It is a word. Honest!)

The first is  a card shape called
Folded Window Frame Card.
I recently took an online class to learn some new shapes.
Course  was by  Shirley Pando.
I have put my own slant on the card I made
but the basics are the same.

I used a 6" square blank Kraft card with a base layer
of yellow card stock adhered just slightly smaller than the card.
The 2 designs papers used were freebies from
Making cards Magazine June /July 2015 issues.
You could use double sided paper (as per the class instructions)
to form the window aperture but I deviated and used separate
papers and glued  a square inset and triangles to the points
that were turned back.
I used a square of hessian  and a few of the threads made into
a small bow and attached to the front under the window frame.
Butterfly is a sticker that Amanda kindly sent me.

I used the off cuts  to decorate the inside of the card
along with another sticker.

2nd card shape
is called a Hidden  Message Card
from the same card class by Shirley Pando.

Papers this time are digi ones  by  Pink Petticoat
'Bold Daisies' from the Isobelline Collection
which I printed off in two different sizes.

I used a scrap of Yellow  shimmer card
and the sentiment and flower motif  are freebies from  a magazine
and came with papers by Nancy Watt.

More butterflies stickers from Amanda and the
brad and snippet of ribbon from my stash.

Hope  you like my examples and will flutterby.
You have until next Tuesday to enter.
