Post Me A Letter Do.

Time has sped round once more.
It is my turn to choose the theme
for the Christmas Club Girls.
I have gone with show a
Post Box on your project.
A quick delve into my used Christmas card stack
and I found 2 very suitable ones to reuse.

One very old style box showing the Initials GR
for King George VI  and the other the boxes we still use today
with ER on them for Queen Elizabeth II.

I'm back with my love/ hate addiction
for acetate on  the 1st card.
I used cream card for the base and layered up with
cream parchment paper for the wording to go on
then the card front and lastly the acetate.
I made the bow using my new bow maker gadget.
I took an aerial view below to show the layers.

I left the 2nd card pretty much as is.
I found the Artists name on  the back which is
Billy Stevenson and the picture is called
'Robin and Post Box'.
Used my Spellbinders Deckled Rectangles
to die cut the layers which I then layered
back up using successively deeper 3D sticky pads .

You can see the 3D effect below.
I used red card stock to create the base
and added  pearls  plus  a gold sticker
sentiment to complete.

I can't wait to see  what  the other girls will make of the theme.

  14. Two fabulous re-cycled cards and bet the team loved your choice of the challenge. To be honest I think Royal Mail are really struggling at the moment short staffed and too much post that they can handle, well that's what Little Dave, our Postman says, he would make a great Elf.
