Vintage Christmas

OurInternet continues to be just
as troublesome with no rhyme, reason
or pattern that it follows. Downtime can be
different times each day so makes using it
very difficult.  If one of us sees the router change
from flashing orange to solid green we drop
whatever we are doing and get on line ASAP!
So if your reading  this we had the green light!!!

Time once again  for the ladies in the
Christmas Card   Club to show our
latest  challenge cards  which was set by the lovely Rachel.
# 8 Vintage.
I had this recycled card in my Christmas stash of reusables
just waiting for the right opportunity to come along.

Base card is matted with red card  then gold pearlescent card.
I trimmed the picture down and mated to more of he red card
Which in turn was adhered to the front of the card.
I used my Spellbinders  ' Marveloys Squares ' Die to cut
The 4 corners which I attached on top of the reused card
To make it look like a photo  in an album.
Tartan Washi  tape and gold ric rac along with gold snowflakes
completed the side panel.
Sentiment was an outline sticker
By Daisy & Dadeline from my stash.

  16. Really lovely vintage card Mrs ! - the red is just perfect with the wonderful image you used. I love the whole 'ensemble' :)

What a pain in the rear end with your internet connection! Have you checked with neighbours - just in case it's your router on the blink (pun totally intended!!). I bet you've already thought about that one though.

  18. Hi Valery, it's always such a treat to see how you've done a recycled image. This one is just beautiful & so very vintage. You've dressed it up marvelously with the way you've done the photo squares using the die and how perfect is the tartan trimming with the gold. A wonderful placement of each element. Good luck with the internet woes...it can be such a royal pain! TFS & Hugs. Hope your wkend was good
