Twine Sunflower.

Found a card from a Swap I did February of  last year
which I have never blogged about!
The theme was to make a card using twine.
I spent ages looking through my paper stash
for inspiration and finally found this paper
with the circles on  so decided to make
a Twine Sunflower (as you do) to go with it.
I used a Sizzix Circles Scallop for the  flower shape
and yellow/white twine from my stash.
We used to make loads of these when we were kids
with oddments of wool and cardboard packaging.

Lace was an oddment from stash as well.
Words created with a Britannia word die.

More Sizzix  die circles inside
left blank for my partner to add her own message.
I used Kraft card for the base card and chomped one corner off.

  9. Terrific use of twine and the flower is so cute. I love how you added the twine above the lace. It ties it altogether.

  10. Your twine flower caught my eye. It reminds me of that Spirelli technique and why not use a scalloped circle! Very lovely!
