Time once again for the girls
in the Christmas Card Club
to show our cards for the latest challenge.
Lorraine has set us the theme of
Jolly Santa Ho Ho Ho.
Things are a bit manic here as the painter is due tomorrow
and we are busy moving/clearing the room for him.
We have boxes in the dinning room,
bedding in our bedroom and the furniture
is in the spare room I normally craft from.
(no room left to swing a cat so to speak !)
Anyway back to my card which should have been
an easy quick one 'A Centre Fold' card this time.
First major mistake was cutting one side panel wrong
so I decided no probs just trim the other side down to match!!!!!!
Second mistake was that I should have just ditched said card
and start afresh but did I ? Did I heck!!!!!!
So many, many moons later I give you a card
with the thinnest ever side folds
a scant 10mm each .
I bought this stamp last yr and this is it's 1st outing.
Creative Expressions HH447 F
Roly Poly Santa.
I coloured using promarkers and stickles.
Backing paper, gems, felt trim all from my stash.
I fussy cut the image and mounted on 3D pads.
I stopped just short of shoring the sides up with concrete!
I think I used everything else hidden under layers.
(several layers).
Entering into the following challenges after which I'm going to have a nervous breakdown. I would go and lie down in a dark room but there isn't any space left.
Crafty Hazelnut's #214 Something beginnings with B. (bobble hat).
Fab 'n' Funky #244 Christmas.
Through the Craftroom Door # Anything goes.

4 Crafty Chicks #231 Anything goes.
Crafty Hazelnut's Extra# Anything goes.
As always, you manage to turn 'mud' into sparkle gems. This is a beautiful card, and loving the saving trims & folds. The image is so cute, and of course perfection in coloring. I get a kick from reading how you manage to escape from a boo-boo. If you didn't reveal all, no one would ever guess. Really great card, TFS & happy painting. Hugs.
