Hexagon Shaped cards.

I have 2 new shaped cards to show today
as inspiration for my butterfly challenge.

The first one is called
Hexagon Fold Out flower Card
and I found the design in Cardmaking and Papercraft
Quick cards made easy.

Here is the card almost closed up.
You can see that the petals are in a hexagon shape
and sit in a double layer.
The papers were a freebie in Making Cards Magazine March 2015
and are called From a Friend.
Backing card from SU.

First layer fully opened.

Second layer of petals opened to reveal the sentiment
and in this case the butterflies .
Punch is by Tonic Studio using scraps of matching card stock.
Sentiment and bows in my stash.

My second card is called
Shaped Aperture Card
and I got the idea from
Papercraft Inspirations magazine
but modifying the shape to be a hexagon.

Design paper is a freebie from Making Cards July 2013
called Florals and flutters.
Backing card from SU.
Sentiment from Scrapmatts.
Hexagon stencil by Imagination Crafts and I used black chalk.
Twine from my stash.
Butterfly punch by Woodware.
I used Xcut Nesting Heaxagons to cut the shapes.
