Another new shape card for you
and it is also time for the girls
in the Christmas card club to show our latest cards.
The theme was chosen by Mary H and is for
'Snow covered Trees.'
I had this used Christmas card
in my stash so this was my starting point.
I had in the back of my mind to do a type of curved card
and having trawled the web to no avail for instructions
just set to and made it up as I went along so to speak!
There was probably an easier way of making it but here
is the finished card..
The tab tucked in place to make the curve.
Side view of card.
Backing paper by Alison Butler and the silver stick on border
came from Poundland.
Front of the card laid out flat.
You cab see the tab that is used to tuck into a slot on the inside of card.
I used Stickles on the trees to enhance the snow effect
and found some turquoise gems in my stash that matched
the backing paper.
Navy pearlised card from my stash as well.
Entering into the following challenges:
Simply Create Too #79 Anything goes.
Sister Act #93 Anything goes.
Pixie's Crafty Workshop #164 Use up your snippets (Gems were odds in my stash).
Crafty Hazelnut's Extra# Christmas cards only.

Craft Your Passion #248 Anything goes.
Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper # Anything goes.
An ingenious way to curve the card and also have the ability to flatten it for posting Mrs A, great idea. Love the colours and frosty feel.
