It's time once again for the girls
in the Christmas Card Club
to show our cards for the last challenge
of the current year
which was set by Granmargaret.
'Non- Traditional Colours.'
The card that I have made is so not what I started
out to make but you know what?
I absolutely love the result!
I matted chestnut brown card stock onto a blank card base.
Design paper was in my stash but I have no name on the back.
More card stock in donkey brown and then
I created this little scene using 'Stampscapes'
Tree Cluster Sm and small Buck.
I already had the scalloped die cut circle cut out in my stash .
I used various shades of distress inks in Browns/Wild honey
for sky, sun and hills and stamped the images using Walnut Stain.
The sentiment is a gold peel off which I stuck onto a scrap of card
which I then coloured to match the secene.
The wording and scene are both popped up on 3D pads.
I painted diamond Stickles onto the scene
and this close up shows some
of the lovely sparkle it gives.

I love it too! Stampscapes make the best stamps to create a scene, and I so forget about them. Love the color choices with the particular SS stamps that you have on this - and the scallop shape was a very interesting presentation. Love the glow of that setting sun in the background with the buck & his herd. Well done. Am enjoying the elf antics too. Great non-traditional colors & love the woodsy feel to this. TFS & Merry Christmas. Hugs too.
