Bokeh Technique

As it is week 2 of  my current
I had a look on the web to see if I could
find some inspiration for you
and came across The Bokeh technique.
I found a really good tutorial on

So without further ado here is my take on the technique.

I hade recently bought some
Faber Castell Gelatos which was fortunate.
I used Metallic Melon  for the Butterfly
and SU ink pad Coral Calypso for the background .
Stamp is by Inkylicious 'Flutters2'
Sentiment by Hero Arts.
Die cut is by Sizzix 'Super Scallop Crescent'
I used 300gsm water colour card for the tag.
I raised the butterfly up on 3d pads
and even managed to cut round the Antenna
ribbon from my stash.

  3. Really lovely Mrs A - I do so love the soft peach you used! So funny too - whilst I know my Gelatos aren't metallic I thought I'd check out the colours - and they're NEON!! Too late now but could have been handy for the MM challenge last week :)

  12. I bought some gelatos a year ago to do butterflies. So far the package hasn't been opened. So many toys, so little time! Your butterfly is gorgeous and I love the bokeh technique and something else I haven't got round to trying. You inspire. Hope your back is feeling better.
