Autumn Birthday

Fluff's fairy Godmother had her Birthday this week and this is the card that I made and sent.
This card came about as the Godparents spent one of the Godmothers birthdays in America visiting the area splendid for the trees changing their leaves in the autumn and I thought that this card would remind them of their trip.

Spellbinders die ' Shapeabilities window 1'
Memory Box 'Fancy blossoms 98312'
Memory Box 'Norrland Flower 98505'
Briannia Word dies.
Trees from Stampscapes 'Nature sheet #10'

I coloured the window with a Promarker pen in blush and then brushed over with  black chalk powder to give the effect of Italian marble. I inked the stamp up using distressed ink pads that I first stamped onto my craft sheet and then spritzed each colour with water and took the colour up with a fine brush to paint onto the rubber stamp before stamping  out onto card stock. The sky was created using pearlescent chalk. You can't see it here but the window has a sheet of acetate between the stamp and the front of the card.

  17. Mrs. A., just love your autumn colors and your coloring is so fantastic! The window is really cute; a wonderful card I'm sure Fluff's fairy Godmother will love. You should get your packages soon. I mailed them on Friday (4th) but had to mail two because I couldn't find a box and gave up looking so put them in two envelopes. I hope it all arrives safely. Happy Crafting! Sorry it took so long! The postage rates have gone up. :p
