Pink Freesias

Another Birthday card. Two in one week!! This is for Di of Pixie's Playground fame. I had just bought the Triple CD collection of House Mouse  Designs by Joanna Sheen. Primarily for colouring in the digis but when I saw this on the cd knew I just had to print it off and use straight away for this card. Not only is  Di into the House Mice same as me but she loves Freesias too. They are one of my  favourite flowers. I love their delicate scent. In fact I had them in my Wedding Bouquet!
I love using these two colours together.
Pink and turquoise card stock from stash.
Pre coloured digi from CD, details above
Backing design paper also from CD.
Sentiment made using Britannia word dies.
Pearls and ribbon from stash.

I'm always commenting on other blogs how nice it is to see the inside decorated
so this is just to show I can do it too  and I so  love this design paper.
Die is by Spellbinders 'Majestic Elements'.

  2. This is just perfect for Miss Di! I am sure she will love it too. I liked the turquoise with the pink - very feminine indeed. I'm liking how pretty you made the inside...a very nice finishing touch to a very pretty front view. Good luck on your 'fix-it' chores. Forestalling a lot of maintenance down the road is worth the money investment. If you've been there 29 yrs, I expect you shall be there for a while...so worth it. DH is not sure we'll stay put here that long, but now is not the time to sell a home. If we stay here, I want it comfortable for us. We're interviewing window replacement folks. Shoulda saved all my cleaning energy!!! TFS & Hugs

  4. Ohhh, this is darling!

Love the house mouse image and the beautiful way you finished your card inside and out!

The G and D was great once we got the room sorted! And it is a funny story about getting the final one...and I love funny stories.

We did notice that lovely looking restaurant down the road...fancy you loving 5 minutes away. DH said if we had more time he would have liked to try it. There were some couples outside when we drove past and we pulled over just to ask if they knew how much further we should go.
They were all dressed up and stopped to chat and were very helpful!

Who knows, we go be back your way another trip as once DH found out that England only working silk mill is at Kingclere, he was sorry we never went to see it.

So glad to hear that the G and D is busier with pub trade in the winter. It must be lovely with a roaring fire. The owners are so lovely, he came outside to chat with DH about driving directions when we left.
