I needed to make a card quickly the other day to include in a parcel I was sending off asap and it needed to have a lot of blue in it. Stickeroos by Penny Black came to the rescue. Don't you just love em.
This flower image is from the Sun-kissed sheet (#10-200). I used some of the butterflies from the Paris Je Taime sheet (10-199) which I over laid on top of the flowers in opposite corners. Blue backing is cardstock that I picked out to match the flowers and the sentiment was generated in word and printed off. Flat pearls from my stash as was the white card.
Job done. Don't you just love it when a plan works!!

ReplyDeleteThe paddling poll has been filled in the Playground for you - but as I commented to someone - no doubt you'll prefer to do a few lengths of the duck pond - followed by a hose down 'cos it stinks summick rotten.

Butterflies always flutter around colorful flowers, so you've captured a scene right out of the book of nature! Beautiful coloring, and I like the blue pearls!

Lovely card Mrs. A. Those stickeroos worked out so well for this card!
ReplyDeletePixie uses the stickeroos too and now and then I see them pop up in the playground. I had my eye open for some and today I popped into my local LSS as it is changing owners. I had a gift certificate to use up B$ they make the switch over. It was lucky day as all stickers were 65% off so I picked up some Penny black! They are not the brand new ones but hey ho...they will still make cards!
You & Miss Pixie do the most amazing things with these PB stickers. Somehow they never seem to look like a sticker card! Your friend will love it. Butterflies were the perfect embellie for this one. TFS
