I have also followed the sketch on Christmas Challenges (with sketches).
I have coloured in using both Promarkers and Distress Markers and then given the image a light coating of pearlescent chalk.Lastly going over the lines and edges using a gold pen to highlight. Fairy lights have been switched on with Glossy accents! Gold gems added to the corners for a bit of bling.

Another 'smile' card...his expression is so cute. The chalks added such a sparkle & glow, and the G.Accents truly DID turn on the lights. Especially effective if the pic is enlarged. TFS

So brilliant that you got out into the garden...lovely!! I have been hearing the Woodpecker from my garden which is not that far from the church where I first heard it. Such a strange sound! Nice enough to do gardening yesterday, here.But, it's raing today and I am so enjoying listening to its gentle patter.
