D is for Daisy.

The alphabet letter to use  this week over at Tag Tuesday is the letter D. I have some new dies that I wanted to try out and the flower that came to mind was Daisy. Apart from the dies
and the letter D which I downloaded for free here everything else was sourced from my stash and snippets box.
The dies used are Crealies 'Creative Shapes and Creative  Flowers.'
C.C Designs 'Flower Border' which I have added yellow centres to and coloured the stalks.
Die - Namics 'Fresh Cut Grass' which I layered up by using the negative that was cut away.
(Waste not want not is my motto).
I'm not saying where the ribbon came from originally, I will let you guess!!

Entering into the following:
Tag Tuesday: The letter D.
Natalie & Amy's challenge: Something old , something new. (new dies, old ribbon/papers)
Sarah Hurley challenge: Anything but a card.
Sparkles: Die cuts & flowers.
Die Cuttin Divas: Anything Goes.
Twisted Tuesday: Free for All.
Cute Cards Thursday: A different corner.
Crafty Anne's challenge: Something tied, yellow, and ribbon.
Totally Papercrafts: Make your own Embllishments (Dasies using two different dies.)
Pixie's Crafty Workshop: Use your snippets.

  1. I am hopeless at riddles so i will never guess where the ribbon came from...I will guess from a gift bag at Christmas...(someone else had done that this week...sorry that's all i can come up with!

Love the tag though. Daisy's would be the first thing i would think of to go with the letter D.
love that everything came from snippets!!!

  3. Yellow ribbon has got to have something to do with me. Bedroom, clothes or ballet costumes...

This is a super pretty project. The backing paper works really well with the daisy theme and I like the colours. xxx

  5. Super tag Mrs A! Wondering about the ribbon - you didn't pinch it from the Lost Property box in the playground when you were skulking around in the dark did you?

And how clever to use the positive and negative of the grass so effectively. Super stuff!

It's light now so you can come out of hiding!

Hugs, Di xx (that cat's STILL lookin' at me!!)

  19. Gaw-jus tag. Love all the colors & grasses. Like the D cuz my dtr's name starts with D, (not daisy, but Daisy is perfect with your flowers!). Almost afraid to guess, but ribbon looks like the hanger straps on some of the nicer dresses...so I'll try that one. It's pretty, wherever it came from! TFS. Hugs
