Cupcake anyone!

I recently entered a pincushion swap over at the Altered Paper swap group. We were instructed to make a pin cushion any design we liked and to include three stick pins as decoration This is the pincushion I decided to make for my partner Elisabet.
I found out that her favourite colours were burnt orange and teal and found some beads in my stash that were those colours. The rest as they say is history. Yes there is a wally shrink plastic heart button on it. Can you spot it?

Here is the pin cushion that Elisabet sent me back all my vavourite colours too. Thanks for being my partner Elisabet and hope we can do one together again soon.

  1. What a lovely swap - they're both stunners! I've finally got some hat pins to alter - trouble is I've put them away - out of sight, out of mind! Do you use crimp beads to secure the beads on your pins?

  4. Both gorgeous Mrs A! Gosh, you do have a variety of talents. Thought about you yesterday lunchtime - you could have joined Julia and Jan, plus me, what a hoot - you don't live that far away I suspect. Pogo sticks had to be left at the door though :(
