Yellow is the colour

The New Theme/ Colour
for my Butterfly Challenge is

#57 Butterflies + Y is for Years and/or Yellow.

Here is my inspiration for you.
I was on a roll making these as I ended up with 5
Here are the first 2

I used a white base card and a Kanban topper left over
from a previous make. This is actually the surround to the topper.
I used gold outline stickers for the rose and butterfly. Painted in  using Distress markers
which I scribbled onto an acrylic block and diluted down with water and used a fine
paint brush to fill in the details.
Numbers and letters are more gold stickers.
I raised the topper on 3D pads for more definition.

Lets Craft and Create Challenge # 114 Hearts and/or flowers
Scrapper's Delights #56 Anything goes.

 2nd card.
Here I have used yellow holographic card and a printed vellum paper
layered  up  with a butterfly gold sticker and yellow gems to finish.
The 50th was actually a silver colour but I coloured in using a
yellow distress marker which has given a lovely gold appearance.
I thought this would make either a birthday or a gold 50th anniversary.

We need a bit of yellow in our lives don't you think!

Hi Mrs A,
2 wonderful cards, and very fab designs.
I bet the second is so pretty if seen in the flesh so to speak as the camera can never pick up how wonderful vellum is.
Such a very delightful, and summery colour choice as well.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

You have gone to town, I like it when things are going well but often what I make ends up in the bin! Pretty rose paper you have used here.

Left you a comment over on the butterfly challenge...telling you how lovely these two cards are. I especially enjoyed seeing the many wee numbers on the right side of the first card. Brilliant idea.

Gorgeous cards. Yellow is a colour I tend not to use very much but I will have to give it a try. A fantastic way to use up those peel-offs we all have left in the back of our cupboards too.

Yellow and pink roses, what's not to love? Add a butterfly and you've got a winner! Thanks for a great idea to use up all those leftover number and letter stickers I have in my stash too! :)

You are probably best staying clear of Windows 10, I believe it can be a nightmare.
Summer! What summer ?
I use my iPad for blogging, I think it's quite good for that.

Love these yellow roses. That's such a difficult color to grow (at least for me), and the shades of color on each of these cards is glorious. Great painting with an outline sticker. Had to re-read that part to be sure! Love how you used the topper negative. What a good idea and very attractive as a frame for the flowers & butterfly. #2 is sparkling with the holograph paper and the printed vellum. Another nifty idea for a beautiful card.
