Smile Please.

I have been away from my post
visiting family  for a few days
so playing catch up.
It is time for the girls in the
Christmas Card Club to show their makes.
Granmargaret  has chosen the theme this time
which is  use 2 or more pattern papers.
I managed to sort out my digi and christmas card to use
but didn't have time to do anything else.
Fluff gave me a pile of freebie papers
from magazines she had been hoarding for me
so rather than just sort them and put away
I decided to use some of them for the cards here.

The 1st card uses a digi I bought last yr
called  'Snowman Selfie ' by Sassy Cheryl
from Paper Creator
The image comes pre coloured
so I picked out the colours on these
snowball design papers from
Nov/Dec 2015 Making Cards Magazines.
Base card made using orange /blue card stock.
Sentiment is an old card cut down.
Wording strip on front  is a Metallic foiled
adhesive peel off ribbon by Kanban.
Martha Stewart punch used for the edging.

For my 2nd card I delved into my used Christmas card pile.
This picture makes me smile and is by Mary Jane.
I made a base card from Ivory card stock and
then layered up using 3 different papers
from Dec /Christmas editions 2015
Making Cards Magazines.
I mounted the card front on 3d pads
and found matching bakers twine in my stash.

Repeated inside with the same  papers and the sentiment

is an old unused card cut down.

I still had this last old christmas card out on my desk
and it wouldn't be christmas without me making a card using
acetate so here is my 3rd card.
The expression on this penguin
 just creases me up.
I trimmed the card down just  slightly
to leave the green ribbon border intact
and layered up using 2  more designs papers
from Dec /Christmas editions 2015
Making Cards Magazines.
I used blue cardstock  to make the base card.

Front of card is acetate sandwiched into the spine .
Decorated with various silver adhesive stick ons.

Still keeping to my resolution to use both
recycled  christmas  cards and digis/stamps
or die cuts from my stash that I haven''t used.

Off now to see what you have all been up to
in my absence.

Oh my gosh, that middle card is such a scream. I'm sure people living in the snow belt can relate. All of these are great cards. Good job on getting some of the holiday madness out of the way early.
