Steel

Internet is still very adhoc.
The good news is that it has been escalated
to service level 3 and a ticket raised
so all will be sorted!!
That was 2 days ago!!!!!!
Thank goodness I  have
 enough  cards/projects in draft form
to keep me blogging for a while.

Whilst we wait here is
an Anniversary card to celebrate
11 yrs which is Steel.
I wanted to keep the card quite simple
and let the elements do the talking.

The backing paper is silver holographic
which I have been hoarding for years
and the trellis die is by Tonic from their Souree Set.
The entwined hearts
(created by cutting one and wrapping through the other)
came from my good blogging buddy Miss Di (xxx).
The numbers came from a sheet of silver card
but there is no name on it and I can't remember
where I purchased from .
Grey pearls from my stash.
Cream card is linen effect from The Works.
Entering into the following challenges:
The Paper Shelter #120 Celebration.
Inspiration Destination #30 Anything goes.
613 Avenue Create #120 Anything goes/diamonds.
Sister Act #103 Anything goes.
Brown Sugar #143 Anything goes.

Very clever & beautiful way to remember this special day. (I would have had to look up what that anniversary warranted). Love this tonic trellis die, and it looks lovely letting the 'steel surface' peek through. Those hearts are the perfect embellie for this particular card, and you certainly did allow the elements to take center stage. It's just awesome. Lucky you to have Miss for a buddy too! Big Hugs, and hope the internet problem is soon just a memory. TFS

Another beautiful card from you. This is beautiful. I love how you save things for a long time, then pull them out and add to a card for such a stunning result.

Simple Steel Perfection. The butterfly and lace card is lovely also. How very frustrating for your internet issues! May you have it resolved very soon.

Oh, it is too bad that the camera cannot capture all the glamorous qualities of this striking card, Mrs. A.! I can just imagine the shine this has IRL!! I do hope you're right and your intertube woes are sorted soon!! Enjoy the weekend! Hugs, Darnell
