Snow Buddy

Here is the 1st card this month for the challenge over at Lady Anne's using the digi images provided by QKR Stampede. I have also used the  current sketch layout provided by Christmas Challenges ( with sketches)

I have coloured the digi in using Promarkers and  pearlescent chalks. The hat trim and tassel have been coated in white embossing powder(left unheated which gives a slight rough texture) but unfortunately  the photo is making it look grey. The backing paper is a leftover piece which has Christmas trees on it and then panels of red glitter sheeting on top.
The tartan ribbon is a snippet from my trims and the pre shaped sentiment base and sentiment from my stash along with the pearls.

You probably don't want to know this but there are only 102 days left  till Christmas!!

Entering into the following challenges:
Lady Anne's Progressive challenge #8: Use digi provided by QKR Stampede).
Christmas Challenges #90: Use sketch provided.
Crafty Hazelnuts Extra #9: Anything goes Christmas themed.
Winter Wonderland: Frosty the Snowman.
One Crazy Stamper: Christmas challenge.
Ladybug Crafts Ink: Winter Wonderland.
Cutie Pie Challenges #53: Christmas in September.
Pixie's Crafty Workshop #89: Use up your snippets (backing paper and ribbon)

You probably don't know this, but I don't care how many days are left until Christmas......I won't be celebrating.
The whole thing makes me cross!

I am just a bad- tempered miserable old mammoth.
But I like being miserable!
Sorry, Val, for being so cheeky on your blog. I couldn't resist it !

You will either laugh or delete this! :)

Aren't you just glad that winter is on the way?
No?
I am!
Love

Your choice of tulip bulb colours sounds magical. They will look amazing together.
Your garden sounds wonderful! Mine is very green and lilac with little accents of cream and orange. I think this is a lovely time of year as the gardens look quite mature!
Have a great Sunday!

Oh Mrs A I'm so so sorry. I left a reply to your comment a few weeks ago to thank you for our beautiful cards. I feel awful that you didn't get it! We adored them and they have pride of place in our sitting room. You are so kind and clever! I've never really got into card making because I'm scared i would become obsessed. Loads of love and hugs to you from me and Jenny xxxxx
