Off to School.

Sweet Cheeks started School last week. How did that happen? Where'd the last 5 yrs go!! Little Miss Mischief starts nursery this week and her big brother moved into his 2nd yr of school. The times are a changing.

Back in the summer I had a request from Fluff. Could I please make Sweet Cheeks a bag for his P.E. kit for his new school? Not any old bag mind .It had to be bright blue(school colour) with a red car on the front just like Granddads!! How could I refuse such a request.

So I took a photo of The Doc's car drew up a template and cut out in red felt. Twice! One for the front of the bag and one on the back so that when it was on the peg at school he would be able to pick his out  whichever way it was hanging.

Sweet cheeks liked his bag so much it has been hanging on the back of his bedroom door  for the past 6 weeks!!

Great little personalized bag. I made one out of checkered flag fabric with race car fleece lining for Mr. C's driving shoes he keeps in his favorite sports car. Stitching Bliss...

Great bag there Mrs A. I still have the bag my Mum made me for my dancing shoes when I was 11, made out of a scrap of the dining room curtains. I still use it for my dancing shoes so hopefully Sweet Cheeks will be using it for a looooong time!
Now can I have one with a chookie on it please?
Haa Haa!

Aaaw, so lovely, good job done there and it looks great.
My little monster has also started this term, only afternoons for this week, then mornings for 3 days next week, then into full days.
I have an angel and a monster, the angel is into year 4 now, the monster thinks he should be too.

And, it looks fab in the cloakroom at school, you can easily spot it amongst all the bags and coats, and Sweet Cheeks is very proud of it, telling anyone who happens to walk past who it belongs to, who made it and who's car is on it. (And that he's buying one of those when he can reach the pedals... things aren't changing that much!!) xx

Ack! That is the cutest little bag. What a great idea, and I love how you could change the colors for his favorite colors (although I LOVE the red and blue). Super fun! Thanks for joining us at CAS-ual Fridays!
