Circling Frugal 6.

The Frugal Christmas card  competition is still on over at Nessa's blog with still a week left to enter. The idea is to make a Christmas card using your stash that is not Christmas orientated. Christmas stamps & dies are out but you can use a Christmas sentiment if you choose.
Here is what I have pulled out of the bag to use today.

A Darice embossing folder 'Circle Interlock'
When I got this folder I was pleased to see that it matched two papers I had in my stash already.
The Burgundy I have already used on another card and this is the Green piece.
Dulux  Matchpot in 'Roasted Red', Glossy accents, scalloped card blank.
Carboard letters in Capitals & white card.

Here it what I made.

Another one bites the dust and this is fabulous, another idea for me to try, never thought of using glossy accents or paint samples on chipboard lettering.

Oh _yes_! This definitely does not have the 'frugal' look about it! (I do b'lieve you that it 'tis LOL). Love your EF with this dp. (good for you - remembering you have the dp, then being able to find it. I never could). The bright red letters just popped off the card, and I'm likin' the shaped edges with the EF too. Best one yet I think. (well, I say that until I see the next one!) Hugs & TFS

This is an absolutely beautiful CAS Design! I think the embossing combined with the coordinating designer paper elevates your project. The Glossy letters are the perfect finishing touch! Fabulously composed and executed! Thanks for dropping this into our mailbox here at 613 Avenue Create!

Hi Mrs A

Another stunner that looks far from frugal - it looks very elegant indeed. Love that you manage to work so well with Glossy Accents without leaving finger prints - maybe I dab to check if things are dry too soon? :)

I cut dat dere felt using my Cuttlebug BTW - the self adhesive stuff cut just like card. I ran the non-sticky (thicker) felt to and fro a few times but did get a nice clean cut and no metal bits flying off the Bug. It works fine :)

Hugs, Di xx
