The plants have taken over (WOYWW 106)

No desk as such today and nearly no post as internet has been down all day and only just back on line now.

The craft pod has been invaded by the plants from downstairs plus all moveable furniture as the carpets are being cleaned tomorrow. (Just had a very nice phone call , Maurice is coming at 9am in the morning to do them). 'The Doc' has slowly been hemming us in at my desk as he has been busy all day clearing the decks . Monkey is on look out duty and is trying to work out the easiest route to the door. Hopefully we will be back next week fully functioning and no internet problems.

Off to have a snoop now at more crafty desks around the globe. Why not come and join me at

Cute monkey! Congrats on the clean carpets...sounds like a pain, what with all the furniture moving, but you'll sure love it when they're all clean! Happy WOYWW!

Hmm, I bet your carpets will smell divine tomorrow after Maurice has worked his magic! Please send him round to me after he's finished. It's my dream to have wooden floors everywhere, but John prefers carpets so we only have a few rooms done (so far...hehehhe).

I see you've got Monkey hard at it again and trust he will be suitably rewarded with some peanuts (or other Monkey treats!)

Hope all is well on the folks front xx

Don't let Monkey get hungry and eat your lovely house plants. Send Maurice over here when you've exhausted him!

Hope those carpets are all done and you can get back to normal. I am gradually working round the house doing all ours after all the plaster dust. Not a nice job. I favour the magic wand idea to do that job.

PS forgot to say, thanks for visiting me today and for agreeing with me on the idea that children should be allowed to be children and not mini-grown ups or worse.

Don't let monkey get near the carpet cleaning machine - I imagine soapy bubbles percolating the house and monkey emerging from the foam naked but spotless!!!!

Good luck with the carpet cleaning. I always hate to have it done but it always looks and smells so nice after! Monkey looks like he has things under control. Wonder if he has some scheme he is plotting! Thanks for sharing. Vickie #46

Monkey should be quite at home in that jungle, surprised he's not off swinging in the trees!! Can't believe you've been trying to count by inkpads, you could've just asked lol!!
